Ezra 9:14-15

14shall we break your commandments again and aintermarry with the peoples who practice these abominations? Would you not be angry with us buntil you consumed us, so that there should be no cremnant, nor any to escape? 15O Lord, the God of Israel, you are just, for we are left a dremnant that has escaped, as it is today. Psalms 69:22-28

Daniel 9:5-8

5 uwe have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly vand rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules. 6 wWe have not listened to xyour servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to your kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. 7To you, zO Lord, belongs righteousness, but to us open shame, as at this day, to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, aathose who are near and abthose who are far away, in acall the lands to which you have driven them, because of adthe treachery that they have committed against you. 8To us, O Lord, belongs open shame, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because aewe have sinned against you.
